Yep you guessed it, our local hate group has expanded it’s hate to yet another Texas city.  They have launched a website and hate campaign against the city of Houston because they elected an openly gay mayor and have just built a large new building for their planned parenthood.  The website is supposed to prevent Houston from becoming the “San Fransico of Texas”  Are you kidding me?  Guess it was just a matter of time that these fanatics spread, I just think it’s a shame that now this is how Amarillo is being talked about…home of the Texas hate group.  FYI  it appears this site is being mentioned on the Houston Fox News web site and possibly other Fox affiliates.  So perhaps now we should be known as the Amarillo & Houston Citizens against Repent Amarillo, I’m just saddened that their hate has traveled so far.

At any rate you don’t have to be in Amarillo to post here and let me just say that this Hate group does NOT represent the feelings of our community.  That being said…Welcome Aboard Houston we look forward to hearing from you.

My concern is that the ACTIVE members of the local chapter consists of one family and 1-2 other non-family members along with another husband and wife who attend their events sporadically. The main family has 2 members that can justify ANYTHING and the other family members are very passive.

People ask where they meet so I wanted you to know they are meeting at his home – Per Raven Amarillo’s Facebook, the “church” is meeting at his home at 3706 Fountain Terrace on Sundays at 6:00 PM. They provide dinner after the meeting. This is interesting. They were outside the home of the attorney (Cristal Robinson) who represents Monica and Mac (the owners of Route 66 Party and Event Rental) where Route 66 Swingers Club meets. The Club members are unable to meet at the building, because of the harassment and intimidation along with the adjacent parking lot having a NO TRESPASS only on the weekends.

Cristal allowed the Club to meet at her house, because she lives in the country. RA/RM did not show up for New Year’s Eve, but did for the last night’s meeting. Per her statement, “David Grisham told Monica & Mac personally and wrote somewhere (AGN, Prairie, etc) that he would leave them alone if they took their club outside of Amarillo or to someone’s house. Remember my house (Cristal’s House) meets both criteria. But they also stated they will stop at nothing.” She called the police and 3 Potter County Sheriffs and 1 DPS officer responded. She saw Russell Grisham walking in her front yard and wanted the group to be put on notice of trespassing. The DPS officer decided their actions constituted further investigation and proceeded to take pictures of each RA/RM member present along with questioning them in his car. He stated to Cristal that the report will be provided not only to the DPS, but to other governmental agencies such as Homeland Security and the FBI.

I notice this evening that Russell seems to have found our site here and it appears had a rather childish 60 plus message argument with the sites spam filter.  Is this really how you make your point?  This is what God tells you to do?  Seems very interesting to me that this is the method chosen by this group who claims to be doing God’s work.  I mean really, did you think that an email address beginning with ihackyou would make it past the spam filter?  In all fairness in one of the messages he did give his actual email address which is how I know who it was, although he does think I’m someone I’m not.

Pastor David H. Grisham Director: RAVEN/Repent Amarillo Sent a Facebook message to a person in the press. This person never talked to the David Grisham when they were protesting a play she was in and she did not talk to him when the newspaper she writes for covered the hearin…g. (Raven Amarillo January 8 at 12:01am Report) WHY?

Repent Amarillo/ Raven Amarillo is not only targeting the Swingers Club, but they claim credit for shutting down the Crystal Pistol. It is the strip club on Amarillo Blvd that has been around for almost 40 years. The City of Amarillo Code Enforcement started inspecting the building LAST JANUARY. Remember that is when Avenue 10, Route 66 Party & Event Rental, and War Legion was closed down due to Code Enforcement. The owner had permits for electrical and the city took them away. One time they told him that he was closed until they could decide what was against Code. There is more to this story so stay turned.

If a Sexually Oriented Business – Crystal Pistol – is closed more than 6 months, the SOB permit is voided and it cannot be a strip club ever again inside the City of Amarillo. The City passed an ordinance several years ago.

Update: It has been 1 year since Repent Amarillo protested the Route 66 Swingers Club on New Year’s Eve. This year was different. The Route 66 Swingers Club did not meet at the Route 66 Party and Event Rental on 6th St, but a house in the country. Repent Amarillo did not show up at the house. Does anyone know if th…ey were at the building on New Year’s Eve? Just curious! The party attendees said they had a blast.
