BoyCott Houston…Really?????

January 21st, 2010 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

Yep you guessed it, our local hate group has expanded it’s hate to yet another Texas city.  They have launched a website and hate campaign against the city of Houston because they elected an openly gay mayor and have just built a large new building for their planned parenthood.  The website is supposed to prevent Houston from becoming the “San Fransico of Texas”  Are you kidding me?  Guess it was just a matter of time that these fanatics spread, I just think it’s a shame that now this is how Amarillo is being talked about…home of the Texas hate group.  FYI  it appears this site is being mentioned on the Houston Fox News web site and possibly other Fox affiliates.  So perhaps now we should be known as the Amarillo & Houston Citizens against Repent Amarillo, I’m just saddened that their hate has traveled so far.

At any rate you don’t have to be in Amarillo to post here and let me just say that this Hate group does NOT represent the feelings of our community.  That being said…Welcome Aboard Houston we look forward to hearing from you.

As the world of Repent Amarillo turns:
“Pastor David H. Grisham, who has also launched the website RepentAmarillo.com, founded BoycottHouston.com as a way to prevent the city from transforming into “a Texas version of San Francisco.”
They CALL him Pastor and Minister. His church is in HIS home.

russell is claiming to be getting IP adresses of people posting on this site. isn’t that type of hacking against the law. i would hope he is not able to obtain that info directly from here.

Hi lee, I can assure you that he is not getting the IP addresses from this website! He is just trying to scare people from confronting their cause and from speaking so freely.

As for the events of this group on Houston, I am completely appaulded, but at the same time a little relieved. I am sad that this had to go this far and I hate to hear that Amarillo will be remembered for this hatred. I personally know nothing about the Mayor of Houston, but I applaud her. She is no different from anyone else as she is living her life as she sees fit. We are in no place to judge her nor do we have the right to judge her. My relief comes as I am glad that they have begun to target others as they have been here. My hope is that now this will make the city officials and the authorities realize the capabilities of this group. This group of idiots is walking a very thin line on violence and I am affraid innocent people will be hurt by them because they do not believe as they do. This has GOT to stop and surely their ignorance has finally caught up to them. Surely NOW that they have targeted one of their own, the city officials will take a stand and put a stop to them. Surely NOW they will open their eyes and stand up for the citizens in this community. Because up to this point, they have chosen not to do so. They have repeatedly chosen to hang us out to dry so they can live their lives as they see it while we have to fight for every minute we get. Surely, the city and the departments that were designed to serve and protect will actually NOW have the opportunity to do their job!!!!!!!!!

Here’s hoping!!!! Citizens of Houston, I am truly sorry that you had to be dragged into this. But please help us get our Mayor to realize that these idiots are dangerous!!!! I do not want our city to be known for the religious group that went on a shooting spree!

Ok I have had those questions asked before Lee so I’ll try to answer them as briefly as possible.

Does this site log IP addresses?
In a word yes, everone who visits this site (yes visits not just posts) IP address is logged in a password protected SQL Database. I have the only password and I am the ONLY owner of this site. Think of it like your house, unless someone else has your permission you are the ONLY one allowed to access what is inside it.

Can it be accessed by people without permission?
Sadly yes, just like your house anything can be broken into.

HAS it been accessed by anyone without my permission?
Not to my knowledge and I review the logs daily.

    Is it legal?
No, it’s called breach of computer security…hmmm where have we heard that before? Accessing ANY protected data from ANY computer and yes a web server is a computer is not legal. The IP addresses are stored in a password protected database. Enough said.

As a footnote you don’t have to be aware that you are breaking the law to in fact be punished for the violation. I have seen a few cases in the past where people using free software tools downloaded from the internet were convicted of crimes for using them even tho they didn’t realize the tools were accessing protected data.

i figured there were some protective measures in place. i was mainly concerned that he had found a way to hack in. he was calling one of the club members by name on the AGN blogs. i guess he can readily get IP addys from that site apparently.

I can’t speak for the security of the AGN site but so far everyone he has claimed to know by ip address has either been flat wrong or someone he already knew from other sources. I have no idea if he was correct or not on the AGN site but the name he posted was someone who I believe testified against him in court.

well now they all got their mugs on the channel ten news. david was laying it on thick and his family was behind him with arrogant smirks. he actually thinks he can make the public believe that he is concerned about the city of Houston. if he is THAT concerned i wish he would pack himself and the rest of the clampetts up and MOVE THERE!!! I was talking with someone today about how it concerns me that he works at one of the gates at PANTEX. he may not be allowed to carry a gun any longer, but what if he were to allow a terrorist though the gate so that he and his followers could be martyred into heaven? that is really some food for thought.

Hmmmm, Houston will chew him up and spit him out. I just hope that Mayer McCart is a little embarassed over this. It makes our community look bad….

This story really irritates me. I only hope that he decided Houston needs him more and he moves there and leaves us alone. Houston won’t put up with him. I sometimes wonder how much of this is him really passionate about his “mission for God” and how much is done for personal attention.

Weird….our city has slapped another city in the face. Our Mayor has taken a bad PC hit on this and yet nothing. No comment about it, no press release, no nothing. Heck, there hasn’t even been an article about it in the AGN. You would think that the mayor would at least issue something about how the good “Pastors” (yes, I use that term loosely) sentiment isn’t shared by the majority of Amarillo. This is a slap in the face by our city to the gay community here. Eh, it will get swept under the rug too just cause the APD is scared.

Lee —what a good point. What would happen if “god ” tells him to end the world or that nuke weapons are a sin against god. He has stated in the interview on the Indy that God talked to him

But we need to realize again that it probably will not be Grisham that ends up doing something irreversable… I am guessing it will be one of his followers that are wanting to IMPRESS PASTOR DAD.. remember that almost all his followers are young and it is known that young followers want to be like their leaders and even in alot of cases are attracted to them. This leaves the door open to them wanting to MAKE THEIR LEADER PROUD. I have said it a hundred times .. one day it will happen and then it will be to late to say I am sorry… bad things are in the making and I personally would like to see it all stop before this hate group causes someone to get hurt or worse.. remember this is only MY opinion but again it IS MY OPINION.. Your village idiot up there is going to end up costing you more than us with this boycott Houston nonsense. Unfortunately, people down here are seeing this more as an Amarillo vs. Houston thing.

that hypocrite of a wanna be pastor does not represent Amarillo in ANY way shape or form. he has quite the gay history of his own that he tries to keep under wraps.

    @Andrew
Well, Andrew….we definitely do not want to hear that! This is definitely NOT an Amarillo thing. This is a group of idiots that happen to live in our city. I assure you that the majority of this city believe these idiots are nothing but trouble and we have done nothing for over a year now except try to get the officials in this city to see how dangerous they really are! So, we certainly hope that the people down there will take the time to realize that the citizens of Amarillo think these people are freaks and we do not support his beliefs in any shape, form, or fashion! You should not hold all citizens accountable for a few even if our city officials do not give a crap about the citizens of this city!

i have a strange theory about our local cult…..visit youtube.com and do a search for 2012 doomsday. there are some interesting vids about this prediction of the Mayan calendar. i wonder if this is what motivates the grisham clan. after all…this is supposed to be the end of all time for our planet according to ancient prophets and the mayan calendar. the galaxy will be in perfect alignment and that is supposed to trigger stellar events. even though they deny the whole pagan thing on their warfare map and all….i still wonder if this is what is motivating them? December 21 2012 is supposed to be the beginning of the end. are they scrambling around trying to save lost souls to try and earn their way into the afterlife???? is this up coming day in history to blame for them going out of their way to harass people? who knows for sure? yeah the planets and all being in perfect alignment could cause some strange energy fields to disrupt our modern lives which would leave russell helpless without his internet connection to poke fun of people and expose them too their online screen names. i guess instead of admitting personal guilt……they feel the need to go on a soul harvest to earn their way in. a true pastor does not harass sinners in any way shape or form. no loud speakers…..no contacting employers……no condemning to hell……no following people to their homes……no back ground checks……no public protests on private property…..no childish behavior on the internet “RUSSELL”….no announcing GOSSIP about others in public…..no threats to show up and witness in front of businesses …….GET MY POINT? a simple invite to church services with a sincere smile usually does the trick for someone who is lost……not a bunch of threats. threats make people mad which triggers hate which triggers retaliation which usually ends in violence by one party or the other. NOT what a higher power would want. just my humble opinion.
i know they watch this site because russell has been manipulating images on the AGN site of the posts on here.

I just heard about this from an article on the Daily Kos – http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/3/6/843408/-Repent-Amarillo:-The-Hate-Group-With-A-Nuclear-Twist, where the main concern is how someone like Grisham can be a security guard for 22 years at a plant that stores 14,000 plutonium pits and is charged with protecting the nation’s nuclear arsenal. Pantex requires a DOE “Q” clearance to even get in the door. How can someone like Grisham retain his job there? You would think by now there would be a movement to get his ass out of there, and Pantex would be happy to oblige. Or all they all that nuts too?

The open militarism of the RA website header might be just silly, but for the prominent logo of the Army of God, which posts pictures of beheaded fetuses on its home page, and praises Scott Roeder and Paul Hill as heros for killing abortion doctors. That’s scary. I passed this along to my circle of friends, and then thought, am I over-reacting? Maybe Amarillo is just so far gone that this is normal behavior out there. A few pictures on a web site, after all, do not necessarily make a dangerous, armed cult. Maybe their web designer is just some stupid Modern Warfare addict, and Grisham and his fans get a kick out of looking scarier than they really are.

Relatively saner citizens of Amarillo, rather than react negatively to this psuedo-religious abberration, please spend your time tell the rest of world the good news of what the rest of Amarillo is really like. Michael Moore is probably already headed there with cameras to document the effect of Pantex on your culture, like he did with Lockheed Martin at Columbine. Or maybe he’ll wait until some real tragedy has occurred.

I hope your saner Amarillo preachers are pointing out that when Peter took up the sword to fight the guards who were taking Jesus in Gethsemane, the Prince of Peace told him, “Put up your sword. He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.” Tori is right – the true religious message is “Love thy neighbor.” What poor, disturbed Grisham is doing is nothing at all like true Christianity or true religion of any kind. What he needs is a good fall off his high horse, like Simon Peter, another righteous persecutor, that will bring him to his senses and wake him up to the beauty of God’s nature. If I were his friend, I’d advise him to take a long vacation, get as far away from Pantex as he possibly can, and find a less stressful line of work. God grant that grace and peace will soon befall him.
